what a day

What a long day we have had here. I made some goodies for the party we are going to tomorrow. (My famous taco dip included, see my food blog for the recipe). As I was starting to mix the base I hear a blood curdling scream from outside and then shreiking. Lillian was stung by a bee. Madeline was freaking out that there was a bee around. It somehow managed to get under her hair. Ed is batting at the bee trying to get it away from Lilly, he finally manages to and it it stunned falling to the groun…

Lemon Thyme Dip

1½ cups sour cream
1 tbsp. chopped fresh or 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 tbsp grated lemon peel
2 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp. salt
veggies for dipping

Mix all ingredients except vegetables in a bowl.

Cover and refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.

Taco Dip Perfect for parties!

The best taco dip you'll ever have! This is my signature dish I am now stuck bring this dip to every family and friend function where we are asked to bring a dish to share. I swear you will get rave reviews from everyone if you make this dish. Nothing like bringing a taco dip to a few of my husband's functions only to have another person to bring their version and have yours devoured and the other one go untouched, (even by the husband of the woman that made it). Apple Pizza

Sugar cookie dough crust – pre-baked and cooled
3 tb Flour
1 pk 8oz cream cheese softened
1/4 c Creamy peanut butter
1/2 c Brown sugar 1/2 ts Vanilla
2 md Granny smith apples
1 c Lemon lime soda
Cinnamon
1/4 c Caramel ice cream topping
Optional: 1/2 c Chopped peanuts

Blend cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar,and vanilla together until smooth.

Spread on cooled cookie.

Peel, core and slice apples.

Creamsicle Cake

Creamsicle Cake

1 box orange cake mix
1 pkg orange Jell-O
2 cups boiling water Frosting;
1 pkg orange Jell-O
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
1 cup cold milk 8 oz Cool Whip

Put Jell-O & pudding in bowl.

Add milk.

Beat well, then add cool whip Mix well.

Refrigerate.

Prepare cake according to directions on box.

Just before cake comes out of the oven, dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water.…
